Terms of Use

Please carefully read the following Terms of Use before using www.the-lux-group.net Web site (the “Site”). By accessing this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. These Terms of Use may be updated from time to time. Accordingly, you should check the date of the Terms of Use (which appear at the end of this document) and review any changes since the last version. If at any time you do not agree to these Terms of Use, please do not use this Site.

Hermès Apple Watch Sales

All sales are final. We politely decline any requests for return or exchange of this product due to it’s demand and delicate nature. 

Services – Terms and Warranty

All services are final sale; no refunds are offered once service is rendered. Polishing service carries no warranty; if we are polishing something that is previously used we will be able to get most scratches and scuffs out of the metal but some are too deep to get out completely, the metal will not be the same as the day you first bought it but it will be much better than how it was sent to us. If we are polishing an Apple Watch Ultra, the watch will be a shiny mirror finish when polished. If there is something not to your liking we must be notified with photographs of the issue in writing (email: heretohelp@theluxgroup.us) within 24hrs of delivery. We will correct any issue and may cover postage at our option to do such.

Gold plating services carry a 60-day warranty for any flaking or fading. If there is something not to your liking we must be notified with photographs of the issue in writing (email: heretohelp@theluxgroup.us) within 60 days of delivery. All warranty claims carry a $69 warranty claim fee to cover chemical disposal related to any repair. We will correct any issue and may cover postage at our option to do such.

AS-IS and/or used items sold at a discount do not carry any warranty implied or otherwise on the gold plating.

Returns and Exchanges

If a customer finds that the merchandise is wrong or damaged, the customer must contact our customer service department through our website to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) within 24hrs of receiving the goods. The Customer Service Department will respond to its customers via e-mail and issue you a RMA number and specific instructions for how to return your merchandise. There is a 50% (of original purchase price) restocking fee for all returns. Return fees are restocking fee + any domestic shipping if needed.
* You will be refunded for the item only, not the shipping and minus the restocking fee, only if your item is eligible for a refund.
Exchange fees are restocking fee + shipping if needed and International shipping costs back to the customers’ international address.
1. Pack the item(s) securely in the original product packaging, if possible. Please include all paperwork, parts, and accessories. All items must be returned in good condition, to ensure credit.
2. Enclose a copy of the original packing slip with the item. Please keep a copy for your records. If you cannot send your packing slip, please include your order number, billing name, and address with the item(s).
3. Before sending your return shipment, please remove all extra labels from the outside of the package.
4. Send the return package to the given address when a RMA is obtained (unless your packing slip directs otherwise):

* All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.
* It is recommended that you use Fedex, UPS or Insured Parcel Post for your return.
* Keep the Return Tracking Number for your return package to monitor delivery status.
* You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase within 30-60 days.
* Credit for gift returns will be issued to the original purchaser.
Our general Return Policy does not apply to all items. For a list of exceptions and instructions on returning these specialty items, please read our Return Exceptions Policy.

Custom Orders/ Backorders / Out of Stock / Pre Orders

If an item is not in stock or back-ordered, we will notify you of the delay. Cancellation is subject to a cancellation fee (please see below). We are not responsible for delays in your order due to backorder situations. Shipments will be made when all items in your order have arrived at our depot. We do not make partial shipments unless requested and you approve additional shipment fees..
Processed orders will be charged the service fee of $35. This is already included in your order as part of our shipping and handling fee. Should your order be canceled due to a back order or out of stock notice, the $35 service will be deducted from your order refund. Custom orders are non-refundable and not eligible for return.

Cancellations / Changes to your order

We cannot accept cancellations or changes to your order once your order has been placed and we have charged your credit card. There is a 30% cancellation / restocking fee for most items plus any shipping fees + $35 non refundable service fee.

Duties and Taxes

You are responsible for all and any applicable duties and taxes in the destination country those are not included in your total from the-lux-group.net. If a shipment is rejected by you because of customs clearance charges or gets returned to us due to restrictions your country has in place regarding the importation of the goods you purchased with our assistance, you will be held liable for return shipment and/or all other miscellaneous fees incurred by us that are associated with that return. In some cases, we may declare your item at wholesale value.

California Sales Tax will be added to order that ship to California.

Shipments sent inclusive of duties will be capped at a $50 USD value. This is not inclusive of VAT any and all VAT charges are due when you are billed. If the amount is billed to our account and paid by us the VAT amount will be billed to you (customer).

Your Account

If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. The Lux Group reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.
There will be a $35 non refundable service fee included on all orders placed on our site. This fee is non refundable and will be deducted from any refund issued to you on processed orders (includes all orders canceled due to out of stock or back ordered products).

Payment

The Lux Group strives toward on-line credit card security and giving its users the largest array of payment options available. Protecting the user´s credit card integrity is of utmost importance. To minimize the risks associated with card-not-present transactions, The Lux Group may require its users to:

– Present the copies of the original credit card and photo ID – Fill out a Credit Card Authorization Form
– Send a copy of your most recent bank statement
– Sign a release form when retrieving the package

Coupons

Coupons can not be used with items on Sale. Coupons are subject to verification and any abuse may result in your order being canceled.

Domestic and International Shipping and Transit Times

All our shipments are trackable and insured. We will make every effort to ship you order with your preferred carrier. However we cannot guarantee this. Please make sure someone is available to accept your parcel. Shipping companies usually try to deliver a package three times before the parcel either gets abandoned or returned to us. Track your package to find out when you can expect it. With a normal customs clearance these are the estimated transit times for standard and priority shipments. As soon as the status of your order is set to “Shipped” and a tracking number is provided. Some carriers offer money-back guarantee on shipments. However this is not something that we offer. Shipping costs include packaging, insurance, handling costs, administration costs and processing fees, none of these are refundable.

Refused Shipments / Delivery Failure

You will be held liable for return shipping (if applicable), duties and taxes (if incurred), and for all other associated fees when any of the following circumstances occur. Your package will be abandoned and you will be billed for any additional fees. Absolutely no refunds will be issued.

– You refuse delivery of your parcel for any reason.
– The carrier makes 3 unsuccessful attempts to deliver your parcel to your address because you are not at home and/or do not pay duties and taxes.
– You provided an invalid address.
– Your parcel is returned by customs because your merchandise is restricted from import into your country.
– You refuse to pay duties and taxes.

Disclaimer From Unforeseeable Circumstances

The Lux Group is not responsible or liable, nor shall it be deemed in default of the Terms and Conditions, for any delay or failure in performance or non-performance of any aspect of this agreement resulting directly or indirectly from any accidents, fires, electrical or electronic failures, equipment failures, shipping delays from either online retailers, international couriers, or others, acts of God, labor disputes, governmental orders or regulations, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of The Lux Group.

Modifications

The Lux Group may modify any aspect of this agreement at any time at its sole discretion without prior notice. Any modification to the Terms and Conditions shall be effective immediately once they upon posting of these changes on the web site. The Lux Group advises you to check the web site reguly if you are interested in reviewing any changes. Your use of the web site and the The Lux Group service after modifications have been posted constitutes your acknowledgment of such modifications and your agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions of these changes.

Disclaimer of 5 Year Limited Gold Plating and Apple Care Plus Warranties

THE LUX GROUP LIMITED WARRANTY:

THE LUX GROUP WARRANTS DIRECTLY PURCHASED PRODUCTS AGAINST WORKMANSHIP DEFECTS. THE STANDARD WARRANTY PROVIDED ON NEW PRODUCTS PURCHASED FROM THE LUX GROUP OR AUTHORIZED RESELLER SUPPLIES THE CUSTOMER WITH 60 MONTHS OF COVERAGE AGAINST AFOREMENTIONED DEFECTS AND FAILURES. CUSTOMER MUST REGISTER THEIR PRODUCT WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS OF RECEIPT OF GOODS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR 5 YEAR WARRANTY. ANY PRODUCT REGISTERED AFTER THE THIRTY (30) DAY REGISTRATION WINDOW WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE THE LUX GROUP WARRANTY.

THIS WARRANTY APPLIES ONLY TO HARDWARE PRODUCTS (WATCH BODY ONLY) CUSTOMIZED OR MANUFACTURED BY THE LUX GROUP THAT CAN BE IDENTIFIED BY THEIR SERIAL NUMBER AND HAS BEEN REGISTERED WITH THE LUX GROUP. THE LUX GROUP PROVIDES NO WARRANTY FOR ANY PRODUCT OTHER THAN THE WATCH BODY ITSELF. THE LUX GROUP PROVIDES NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY SOFTWARE PROVIDED WITH ITS PRODUCTS; SUCH SOFTWARE IS WARRANTED SEPARATELY BY THEIR MANUFACTURER. THE LUX GROUP DOES NOT WARRANT ANY HARDWARE PRODUCTS THAT ARE NOT THE LUX GROUP PRODUCTS. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY IF THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN MODIFIED WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION OF THE LUX GROUP OR IF IT’S SERIAL NUMBER HAS BEEN REMOVED OR DEFACED. PRODUCT MODIFICATION INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO UNAUTHORIZED ALTERATION OF THE HARDWARE THAT MAY INVOLVE DISASSEMBLY, POLISHING, AND ANY OTHER ABRASIVE CHEMICALS OR MATERIALS. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO DAMAGE CAUSED BY THIRD PARTY PRODUCTS USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH A THE LUX GROUP PRODUCT; ACTS OF NATURE, A LOSS OF PRODUCT FUNCTIONALITY CAUSED BY ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE, SCRATCHES, COSMETIC DAMAGES, OR ANY FAULTS POTENTIALLY CAUSED BY THE SERVICES OF A NON THE LUX GROUP REPRESENTATIVE. SUCH DAMAGES ARE NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY AND ANY RELATED REPAIRS WILL BE AT COST TO THE CUSTOMER.

ONLY THE LUX GROUP COMPANY IS AUTHORIZED TO MAKE ANY MODIFICATIONS, EXTENSIONS OR ADDITIONS TO THIS WARRANTY AND RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE CHANGES WITHOUT ADVANCE NOTICE (A CURRENT VERSION OF THE WARRANTY IS AVAILABLE ON THE THE LUX GROUP WEBSITE). THE LUX GROUP IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR UNDER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, DOWNTIME, GOODWILL DAMAGES TO OR REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY AND ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, REPROGRAMMING OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH THE LUX GROUP PRODUCTS. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXCLUSIONS OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THE WARRANTY AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHERS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. THE LUX GROUP SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WARRANTY IS NON-TRANSFERABLE. WARRANTY IS FOR THE BODY ONLY, BANDS ARE NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THERE IS A REPLATING COST STARTING AT $75 FOR BANDS. CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SHIPPING AND HANDLING COSTS ESTIMATED $99 FOR A WARRANTY CLAIM.

THE LUX GROUP APPLE CARE PLUS WARRANTY:

SHALL EXTEND THE ABOVE WARRANTY TO THE BODY OF THE WATCH IT WAS PURCHASED FOR TO INCLUDE A MAXIMUM OF 2 INCIDENCES OF ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE (I.E. WATER DAMAGE, SCREEN BREAKAGE) DURING THE EXTENDED PERIOD OF 2 YEARS AFTER PURCHASE FOR APPLE WATCH GOLD PLATED STAINLESS STEEL OR 3 YEARS AFTER PURCHASE FOR APPLE WATCH HERMES GOLD PLATED STAINLESS STEEL. EACH INCIDENT OF ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE WILL CARRY A DEDUCTIBLE THAT IS DUE PRIOR TO SENDING THE BROKEN WATCH IN OF $299 FOR APPLE WATCH GOLD PLATED STAINLESS STEEL OR $399 APPLE WATCH HERMES GOLD PLATED STAINLESS STEEL. THIS WARRANTY CAN ONLY BE CLAIMED ON BY CONTACTING THE LUX GROUP AND IS A THE LUX GROUP WARRANTY. IF THE CUSTOMER DECIDES TO BRING THE GOLD WATCH INTO APPLE AND THEY VOID THE APPLE CARE COVERAGE ON THE WATCH THE OWNER WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING TO REPLACE AND REPLATE THE DEVICE AT THE OUT OF WARRANTY COST. CUSTOMER ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY VOIDED WARRANTY THAT OCCURS DUE TO IMPROPER CLAIM ON THE WARRANTY. PLEASE RAISE A TICKET ON OUR SUPPORT PAGE HERE TO CLAIM ON YOUR THE LUX GROUP APPLE CARE PLUS WARRANTY.

WARRANTY SHIPPING AND RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION (RMA):

WHEN SENDING IN A PRODUCT FOR REPAIRS, THE RMA REFERENCE NUMBER MUST APPEAR PLAINLY ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE SHIPPING PACKAGING. RMA NUMBERS CAN BE OBTAINED BY EMAILING THE LUX GROUP AT THE ADDRESS AVAILABLE ON THE LUX GROUP WEBSITE. ALL RMA NUMBERS ARE VALID FOR 7 (SEVEN) DAYS AFTER BEING ISSUED AFTER WHICH THE CUSTOMER MUST CONTACT THE LUX GROUP FOR A NEW RMA NUMBER OR THE PRODUCT IN QUESTION WILL BE RETURNED TO THE LISTED SHIPPING ADDRESS WITHOUT BEING SERVICED. CUSTOMERS MUST ATTACH THEIR NAME, ADDRESS, TELEPHONE NUMBER, EMAIL ADDRESS, RMA NUMBER AND DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM TO EACH PRODUCT RETURNED FOR WARRANTY SERVICE. CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SENDING THE PRODUCT VIA A TRACK-ABLE SHIPPING METHOD, THAT TRACKING NUMBER SHOULD BE PROVIDED TO A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE VIA EMAIL AT TIME OF SHIPMENT. THE LUX GROUP WILL, AT ITS OPTION, COVER ANY TRANSPORTATION FEES RELATING TO THE RETURN OF THE RMA PRODUCT TO THE CUSTOMER ONLY IF THE RETURN SHIPPING ADDRESS IS WITHIN THE COUNTRY OF THE ORIGINAL ORDER. ANY PRODUCT RETURNED FOR REPAIRS WITHOUT A RMA NUMBER WILL BE RETURNED TO SENDER, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, DUE TO FAILURE TO FOLLOW PROPER POLICY. ALSO NOTE THAT THE LUX GROUP COMPANY HAS NO LIABILITY FOR LOSS OF PROPERTY ASSOCIATED WITH MIS-DELIVERY DUE TO CUSTOMER NEGLIGENCE OR FAILURE TO FOLLOW PROPER POLICY, LOSS OF RECORDED DATA, THE COST OF RECOVERY OF LOST DATA, LOST PROFITS AND THE COST OF INSTALLATION OR REMOVAL OF ANY PRODUCTS OR THE INSTALLATION OF REPLACEMENT PRODUCTS. REPAIR AND OTHER SERVICE OPTIONS FOR ALL CUSTOMIZED THE LUX GROUP PRODUCTS WILL BE MAINTAINED FOR 1 (ONE) YEARS AFTER THE FINAL SALE OF SUCH PRODUCTS.
